Telesales Account Manager

Job Description

Based in the Thames Valley, your duties will involve contacting businesses and local government sectors to develop relations and sell in the full range of Callagenix telephone services. You will be expected to contact potential customers from an extensive Callagenix database and gaining leads from your own sources.

Part of the role is to develop and build upon past successful campaigns, including specific solutions for target markets and where customers have implemented Callagenix services in an innovative way. You will have the ability to build up your own database and maintain any accounts developed. In addition you will be expected to cross sell and up sell on new products and services. You will also be involved in sending out information and updating the in-house system

Experience

You will ideally have a minimum of two years outbound business-to-business telesales experience, preferably in the Telco services industry. You will be confident and articulate, and be experienced in speaking to decision makers and in closing sales. You will have experience of cold-calling and account management, and be able to build up a rapport with clients.

Training

An initial period of 4 weeks will be spent in Marlow familiarizing yourself with Callagenix services and learning the in-house MIS system. Once your period of training has been completed you may have the ability to work from home for part of the week.

Sales Responsibilities

Responsibilities are to generate new and incremental business by primarily:

  1. Cold calling new SME and local government clients to develop relations and sell in Callagenix range of telephone services and numbers.
  2. Call and convert contacts that have registered on the Callagenix database that have:
    • Registered but not created any services
    • Created services, but made no test calls
    • Created services, made test calls, but not purchased
    • Live accounts without professional recordings
    • Non Geographic Numbers without any services
    • Taking calls and converting clients as a result of Callagenix marketing campaigns.
  3. Up-sell and manage specific targeted campaigns including:
    • UK Companies that wish to have an International voice and fax presence.
    • Disaster Recovery Switchboards
    • PIN number Services.
    • Premium Rate Technical Support Lines

Remuneration Package

A basic salary circa £20K p.a. + OTE commissions £10K
• Commissions will be calculated on profit with the option of overachievement payments.
