0800 pricing changes from 1st November 2009
Call charges reduced from 4ppm to 3.5ppm
Callagenix have billed Basic service 0800 numbers to accounts in arrears with a £20 minimum before the bill was raised. Additionally, Callagenix have held a security deposit against the number to ensure payment is collected.
As from November 1st 2009, Callagenix will move away from this method of billing to move in line with the package solutions offered for 0870. This will mean that existing 0800 numbers with Callagenix must move to one of the new 0800 packages. These will be either Monthly or Annual packages and will consist of the purchase of a number of minutes that must be used within an allocated timeframe.
Advanced service customers will be charged an inbound rate of 3.5ppm, instead of the 4ppm currently charged.

Basic service customers, where the 0800 number is routed to a UK landline only will also be able to benefit from the 3.5ppm price reduction by selecting an appropriate option from a range of call packages, see links below
