Which package is best for a number depends how the number is used (i.e Intelligent Routing services or Standard Routing service) and will also depend on the quantity of numbers and the volume of calls they receive. Standard Routing service (Non Service) Numbers
Customers have available to them a choice of different packages covering monthly and annual billing for both high and low volume numbers. Customers with multiple numbers can mix and match the package options to allow them to effectively manage the numbers they wish to operate on their account.
Packages consist of a number of minutes purchased in advance that have a set expiry date (either 1 month or 1 year – although some monthly packages also allow rollover of the last months unused minutes). Minutes used above the fixed amount will generally be charged at a different rate than the per minute rate within the package. The customer would only be able to change the package for the next billing run.
All calls to all packages described within this document will be billed as a minimum of 1 minute with per second billing applying after the first minute.
All contracts for Standard Routing service numbers will be for a minimum of 12 months with 30 days notice of cancellation, such notice not to expire before the initial 12 month period.
The billing for each of the packages will happen at the start of each calendar month. This will be collected either by Direct Debit later in the month or by Credit Card payment immediately. The billing will be in advance for the package minutes for the coming month and in arrears for any minutes used over the previous months package. These additional minutes will be billed at the ‘Over Package’ rate. Any unused minutes within the last months package will be carried forward to the next month. When the billing process runs and if rollover minutes are allowed then it will first use up all of the current months ‘free’ minutes and then use any rolled over minutes from the previous month before charging additional minutes at the over package rate.
In the case of an annual expiry package then once the package minutes have been used up (as determined by the billing run during any month within the year the minutes are valid for) the system will automatically purchase a new minutes package of the same value with the minutes used in the previous month being deducted from the package minutes available in the new package.
There are 2 Standard Routing service types of package available:
Single Number, this is the standard package for accounts that operate less than 10 numbers of the same type. These are available Monthly or for low call volumes on an Annual basis.
Multi Number, this package is available where an account operates 10 or more numbers of the same type that do not have a particulary high volume of calls. These are again available on a Monthly or Annual basis.
