Using a Callagenix international number service can enable your company to present an international telephone presence in over 100 countries around the world, without the costs of you being physically located there.
Using our advanced telephone services, or a combination of services, you have the ability to route calls to any telephone number, anywhere in the world. If your requirement is not to route voice calls, we can easily set up other services, such as fax to email, voicemail to email, Information lines and company emergency lines. We can also set up international numbers to route data traffic as well.
Essentially there are three types of International numbers available, all of which offer different benefits when promoting your organisation. The three number types are:
International Freephone (ITFS) These numbers mostly have the prefix 0800 and are recognised as the indigenous freephone or toll free number. Each country number will be different and they can only be called from the country they have been set up in.
Universal Freephone (UIFN) These freephone or toll free numbers are very similar to the indigenous numbers, except each country number will be identical, allowing you to publish a single freephone number across many countries. Most callers will have to dial the prefix 00 800 then the rest of the number. Again, the numbers can only be dialled from within the country they have been set up in.
International Regional (PSTN). As the name states, these numbers will correspond to a local or regional place within a country. Callers will dial the number in the same way they would call a local number in their country. Numbers are available in many countries all over the world. Unlike freephone numbers, PSTN numbers can be called internationally by dialling the country code first.

International Case study 1 – Growing your business internationally
Company type: Large multinational UK IT organisation
Business Issue: Needed to run a sales and marketing campaign covering 20 countries, taking voice calls in the UK and using fax to email services.
Each country was targeted in rotation with a separate campaign, offering potential customers the ability to respond by fax after they attended a product seminar. Subsequent local marketing invited callers to call a free phone number to progress the campaign.
How the issue was resolved
Callagenix provided them with 40 International ITFS free phone numbers (20 voice and 20 fax numbers). All voice calls were routed to their international sales department in the UK where they were pre-announced, telling their agents which countries the calls were from. Faxes were automatically sent by email as a picture file to a designated email address.
All call and fax statistics were measured using the on-line reporting suite allowing them to calculate the success of each marketing campaign by country.
