How the issue was resolved

1. Parents and carers dial 0800 XXX XXX at any time of the day and they will hear a message (the messages can be changed by you at any time using your web browser, or calling in by telephone)

2. Parents or carers leave their details.

3. The system digitally records the message and immediately sends it as a “wav” file attachment to the school's email address. The message is date and time stamped and includes the caller's telephone number (if not withheld)

4. The school can then play the message attachment on their PC. If sound is not available on the school PC they can dial a voice mailbox to listen to the messages.

5. Finally, a full reporting facility is included for statistical analysis.
