Overview - Why use the answer phone service?
Technology has moved on since the advent of the electronic answer phone. With Callagenix, messages left by your customers can wait in your voicemail box to be manually retrieved, you can be alerted by text or email, and you can retrieve the messages either by telephone in the traditional manner or via email or our cutting-edge web interface.
With Callagenix, you need never miss another call, or worry about losing customers’ goodwill if you forget to collect your messages!
Combined with our ‘out of hours’ service, calls can be automatically channelled through to your answer phone service outside your standard operating hours
How does the answer phone service work?
You simply select the number that you wish to operate the answer phone service on, and we do the rest. Callers accessing the answer phone system will hear your prompt, and be able to record a short verbal message which you can retrieve later in various formats.
Each account can have multiple mailboxes. To ensure that they are not overloaded, messages are deleted after 14 days if unopened, or 3 days if they have been opened. Our message alert system will ensure that you know when a message is waiting to be collected.
Both the type of alerts you receive and the way in which messages are collected are entirely up to you. The system can be turned on and off via our online management system, and can handle all calls or just take messages when the line is engaged.
For particularly busy times, the answer phone service can handle multiple calls simultaneously, avoiding the necessity of customers waiting in a queue to have their call answered.
What are the answerphone service costs?
All service costs are per day and include a choice of a single telephone number. Depending upon the number chosen to run your service, there may be a call cost to you, or revenue paid to you
