Overview - Why use the time of day service?

The Callagenix time of day service allows you to automate your telephone system. Instead of having to manually switch calls through to an answer phone or divert them to your mobile when you leave the office, you can programme your system to do it for you.

As the scheduling is compatible with all of our other services, you have complete flexibility to design a system which is perfect for your business.  For example you can set up a “follow the sun” divert.

Immediate changes to all of your schedules can be made via our unique online management system, and it’s flexible to allow complex schedules making use of all of the other services available.

NOTE: Time of day is a control service and must be used in conjunction with another service.

How does the time of day service work?

The service allows up to seven time slots to be programmed. For each slot you simply set a day and a time, and decide what service to switch to. For example, you may wish to set your virtual switchboard system to divert all incoming calls to an answer phone or recorded message service after 5pm on weekdays, or have a competition line close automatically at a particular time and divert people to a message informing them of this.

Our online management system enables you to change any of your schedules immediately, and all of our services can be integrated.

The time of day service costs just 70 pence per day. It is free of charge if it is being run in conjunction with another of our services, such as the virtual switchboard.
