0845 Numbers
0845 numbers, also known as BT local rate numbers are often associated with trusted and long established businesses as the caller pays the BT local rate. With a Callagenix 0845 number you get unlimited free inbound minutes with free access to call data and call management. Using our standard routing service there are no charges at all if you are diverting to a UK landline.
How are 0845 numbers used?
Basic Service with an 0845 number (Number Direct)
The 0845 number is programmed to "sit" on top of your UK landline number in such as way that calls to the 0845 number are simply redirected to your own landline. Your UK landline number is not affected in any way. Although 0845 numbers can be diverted to landline they cannot be diverted to number types such as international or mobile.
Advanced Service with an 0845 number (Callagenix Services)
Integrate your 0845 number with Callagenix Intelligent Routing services. These may include one or more of call forward, call diversion, group divert, company information line, answerphone, fax to email or the virtual switchboard (illustrated below).
Once you have created your preferred service mix you can control how your 0845 call is managed. This may involve call centre hunt groups or divert to a mobile or UK landline, a pre-recorded announcement or call options.
