How does it work?

To record outgoing calls, you simply dial your service number and enter your (optional) PIN when requested. You will then be prompted to enter the number you wish to call and the recording starts when the call is answered. When the call finishes the recording stops and the call is automatically saved. It is also automatically time and date stamped with numbers for future reference.

Recording telephone conversations with Callagenix is simple and reliable. There is no need to buy any voice recording software or a telephone recording device – it’s all handled for you via our hosted phone call recording and storage service.

If you have a Callagenix Virtual Switchboard service, you can add the Call Forward and Record Services as a hidden option. Simply dial your own Switchboard number and select the option which contains the Call Forward and Record Service.

All call recordings are time and date stamped. Recordings are stored for a limited time in a Callagenix mailbox and can either be downloaded or listened to using streaming audio with a normal web browser. If you wish to archive your calls for longer periods and make them searchable, the MARR (Message Archive Recording and Retrieval) Service is available as an add-on service.

If you have a Call Divert and Group Divert service, you can also record your inbound calls by ticking a box in your settings.
