How does it work?

With Low Cost Calling (LCC), also known as Least Cost Routing (LCR) or Carrier Pre-Select (CPS), we route your outbound calls via our carrier, saving you money on your calls. We can also manage your BT lines and features to ensure you benefit from additional savings.

Once applied to your lines, the Low Cost Calling service sends your outbound calls over our carrier’s network and we bill you for those calls at the end of each month. As far as you’re concerned everything works the same as before, except now your bill comes from us and it costs less than before.

We only use Tier 1 carriers for all our outbound routes, whether national or international. We do not use cheap IP routing or carriers with low bandwidth. This is to ensure your call never fails or breaks up due to a poor quality connection.

With the Low Cost Calling service there is no interruption to your service, call quality is not affected and no change of number is required. You just get cheaper phone calls and a smaller bill.

Add in extra functionality

As well as enjoying cheaper calls and line rental, you can also enjoy extra functionality by taking advantage of our range of hosted services. In order to do this you'll need to port your number to us (normally a straghtforward process), which means we manage it instead of BT.

You can keep your existing phone system exactly as it is now and just add on extra services as and when you need them. For example, you could add on a Fax to Email service, a Call Divert or an Answerphone. It's totally up to you, and even if you decide not to add anything it's good to know you have that extra flexibility available should you ever need it.

As we are managing your lines and calls with this service, it's easy to put in place one of our disaster recovery solutions to ensure you are protected in the event of you suffering from a fire, flood or other kind of emergency.
